THE PCB CAN SEE YOU
Printed circuit boards are found in every electronic device. Hidden, invisible, and readable by very few people at all — they are never intended to be read.
The circuit board and the tapestry are united by the same fundamental systemic order: the logic of warp and weft, of mesh, of conductor tracks. And both share a further fate: the pictorial patterns and ornamental motifs of historical carpets and tapestries are now almost impossible to decipher — their symbolism has become alien to those who view them. The same is true of the PCB. Both are surfaces of concentrated meaning that their owners cannot read.
THE PCB CAN SEE YOU not only highlights this duality, but goes one step further: the carpet hangs there in silence; it does not look back. The circuit boards in this series are equipped with functional components: via a camera module, they do not merely observe, but look back at the viewers.
The graphics on the circuit boards — those markings that are usually used for branding and labelling — serve a different purpose here. They are dystopian, cynical reflections of a fractured society, pressed into a surface.

The plastic PCB has white screen print on it that shows a white only print of a renaissance inspired motif showing
a one-room concrete skyscraper flat where one entire wall (covering one full side of the frame) is completely missing and broken down, leaving the space fully exposed to the outside and revealing a dense landscape of other old concrete skyscrapers and dried out trees.
THe open wall is covered with an elegant curtain, that blows in the wind.
in the improvised interior of the flat is sitting a androgyn male person with untidy hair in front for 3 screens working very hard and sitting on a used cardboard box.
the desk is pretty messy with pile of trash, electrinic components and cables pressed in the edge of the room on a wall.
the entire flat looks improvised. there is a huge matrace on the floor with some used cushions and blanket.
in the other room kneels a young androgyn woman on the floor looking at a smartphone.
there is a messy small improvised kitchen in the background.
on the floor is thrown away crumpled old money bills. There is a scooter helmet and delivery backpack thrown on the floor.
both persons look tired and drained and sad. Their clothes are used – crop tops, joggers, hoodies and very causal and oversized, hair is messy.
in some corners of the room, there are screen-printed illustrations of tiny, round cute weird animal like kawaii style toys – symbolic like baroque.
the walls are white with some areas showing subtil floral wallpapers.
the motif is in hard screenprint contrast. NO GREYSCALE.
On the PCB are some all black chips and small components mounted. there is a tiny camera module mounted too.
The black PCB cicuit lines split and underly the screenprint motif. the screenprint in on top of the COMPLEX circuitery.
