UNFITTER:BITS is an experimental serie of devices and device acessoires, that focus on refusal, sassy, stubborn attributes. UI design, even if digital or analog, comes with smooth surfaces and optimized, often very minimal items – for optimal performance. The complexity behind theses shiny surfaces of hidden most of the time – exspecially the real cost. This cost is rescourcces, energy, but also personal attention and psychological health.

The devices make this pain touchable through articifial thorns and spikes, that are applied to the devices, to primarily disturb, slow down or realign the attention to the mostly blindly trained processes of media consumption, device interaction.
